Petra began her career as a biologist in the life sciences in Germany and the USA, and later led her own research group at the University of Ulm, Germany. Being in a scientific leadership position brings many challenges. These sparked her interest in coaching to become more comfortable and efficient in leading her team. She then moved on to qualify as a certified systemic coach. Today Petra supports professionals in strengthening self-management and communication – particularly in complex leadership positions.
Whether equipping her clients to deliver constructive feedback, guiding them through critical negotiations, or helping them navigate challenging conversations, Petra focuses on practical skills. She believes that effective communication is a catalyst for growth – enabling not just conflict resolution techniques but also stronger, more resilient relationships built on mutual understanding and trust. Petra has been running workshops and offering her coaching services in multinational multicultural environments for more than 10 years.
Outside her professional work Petra and her husband are passionate formation skydivers who compete in various team events, including the German National Championships.
To recharge her batteries, Petra enjoys a cup of coffee in her little garden.
